Who's Speaking?

John is a self-employed consulting engineer with an international practice, specializing in geotechnical instrumentation. After masters degrees from Oxford and Harvard Universities, John lived in USA for 30 years, practicing as a specialty consultant. He is now based in Bovey Tracey, Devon.

Raul is a Chartered Civil Engineer who has worked in the design and operation of monitoring schemes for many projects such as deep basements, embankments, roads, bridge foundations and others. He has done this in various capacities during his career in Atkins, May Gurney and more recently in Arup.

Jonathan Gammon is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Chartered Geologist, and Registered Engineer.

On February 2005 he received the degree in Earth Sciences at University of Florence in with the maximum vote cum laude, discussing a thesis on “Radar technique for the monitoring of slope deformations”. On March 2009 he received the PhD in Earth Sciences at the “Sapienza University of Rome”, discussing a thesis on “Analysis and modelling of coastal landslides and induced tsunamis”.

I have worked in geotechnics for 20+ years both as contractor and designer with a particular focus on deep basements.
