We are the Hong Kong Branch of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IMMM).

The Branch was formed in December 1984 and is a registered society under the Laws of Hong Kong. The membership of the Branch increased steadily in the 1980s and 1990s, and now exceeds 200. Branch Members are drawn from a wide range of disciplines, including geology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, mining engineering, materials engineering, tunnelling and materials science.
